Effective CPD

The courses we offer are underpinned by rigorous scholarship and supported by continual development and support. They meet the DfE’s Standards for Teachers’ Professional Development in the following ways:

They have a focus on improving and evaluating pupil outcomes;
They are underpinned by robust evidence and expertise, and are clear on intended outcomes and objectives;
There is an expectation of collaboration and there will be expert challenge;
Each course can form part of a CPD programme designed to equip staff with the knowledge and skills required to effectively implement within their school, and sustain improvements over time.

Paul Longden

As an independent consultant, Paul provides training, consultancy and support nationally for individual schools, clusters, MATs and local authorities.

He has been the headteacher at three schools and has been involved in providing leadership training packages for Centre of Educational Leadership in Manchester. He worked for an independent consultancy company for over 5 years before establishing his own which has grown substantially since its creation in 2015.

Paul is a former OFSTED inspector. In addition to this he currently provides training and leadership support to a range of multi academy trusts and over 200 schools nationally.

During his OFSTED and HMI inspections he has been praised for his dynamism and vision as a leader.

He has worked as a Regional Facilitator for TDA West Midlands providing bespoke consultancy support and training. During his teaching career, Paul was employed by both the Dudley PE and Numeracy Advisory services.
